NAEP 2010 National Conference

Are you ready for your reality cheque? 

Do you work in the health, social care or voluntary sector? Are you involved in equipment commissioning, assessment, supply, loan and procurement within the community equipment and wheelchair services? If so, can you afford to miss your reality cheque? To ensure this year’s conference is topical and relevant to the sector, we have consulted with our members to deliver the most pertinent programme we can in the format they want it in. Our Aim

Is to support and share good practice in the provision of an integrated community equipment service to all users in all relevant areas, as directed by the competent professionals.

Our Objectives are:
  • To receive and interpret Government Papers to inform members of all legislation and white papers for both Health and Social Care.
  • To promote networking between organisations working in the field of Equipment Provision, Commissioning or Governance.
  • Identifying future needs for the supply of services to the users.
  • Strengthening links between complimentary services.
  • Facilitate formation of Regional Groups.
  • To strengthen links between Users and Carers.

The Aim and Objectives underpin the work of the Association at National and Local Level.

NEW ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE!

Update to the New Organisational Structure for NAEP

In 2006 The Executive Committee for NAEP agreed to the implementation of a new organisational structure to improve the operational and business management of the organisation. This structure which was presented at Conference 2006 was scheduled to be in place by January 2007.

Since October 2006, the Executive Committee have further refined this structure in order to provide a more streamline and proactive hub to the organisation and which will be directly influenced by the membership. The transition to this redefined structure has been taking place from October 2006 and is now in place.
